About Chris 

Chris Wagner is the CEO of Country Partners Cooperative, an agricultural cooperative serving producers across Central Nebraska. With a lifelong commitment to cooperative values, Chris leads with a focus on service, collaboration and long-term member success.


Chris grew up in Southwest Kansas and has spent his entire career in the cooperative system. He has over 15 years of leadership experience in grain operations, logistics, and executive management. Prior to joining Country Partners, he served as CEO of American Plains Cooperative in Great Bend, Kansas and held various leadership roles at Garden City Co-op, including Vice President of the Grain Division.


He currently serves on the Board of Directors for ProValue Cooperative in Hutchinson, Kansas, and has held multiple board and committee appointments supporting rural development and agricultural advancement.


Chris is passionate about the cooperative model and its role in creating a strong future for Rural America supporting farmers, employees and their families. His wife, Shanda, shares this passion for the cooperative system, and together they are raising their son Easton, a proud five-year-old and emerging co-op advocate. Chris holds a Master of Agribusiness degree from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Chadron State College.
